  heard a rumour that a tornado was spotted over sellindge today.
  
  does anyone know any more information?

  Howard, I know there`s a Spitfire been flying about, but haven`t heard anything about a Tornado. I think there`s one preserved in the air museum.
  Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

  Apparently it's technically a funnel cloud as it didnt hit the ground. Bet it was quite a sight all the same.

  I heard it was seen in Cheriton but as it didnt hit the ground it was just a funnel cloud.

  I have heard and I don't know if it is true that we get more tornado's in this country than they do in America,we do not get the full force ones like they do.Anyone else heard that?

  Years ago we saw a water spout (as it was called) when on a boat on Norfolk Broads after a thunderstorm, looked like this one, but came down nearer to the ground.
