    This might be one for the experts. Following along from the frontpage feature of a few moments ago I thought I would add the pictures here and see if anyone wants to comment.


    The above picture is the same as the one on the frontpage right now. It shows four vortexes ( is that the right plural?) if you look hard enough. I caught them towards the end of their very very short life swirling and swaying at midday yesterday and then they were sucked upwards into the cloud above in all cases...and they were gone.



    It all happened so fast that there was only time for one picture. The second picture here is a crop from the one above, showing a closer version of one of the mini tornadoes.

    As I asked on the frontpage did anyone else see anything..or even better still get a photograph?

    Would always be interesting to see.
    In the current peculiar weather pattern they might just return...so keep watching the sky.
