22:2582924basically I am far too frigging scared to move the damn car again, so... i asked very nicely..
worse case, we toddle in together.. or at least check out the bus route and toddle to tesco?
although i do have a secret weapon.. Daddy!! He is very skilled at driving in snow after living in germany, so i can always ring him and get him to pick us up at the top of the road and drop us in town.

Jenni, using Daddy at your age is pure and simple cheating. grow up.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

08:3082967Howard I am still not well, however when its your business you kinda have to go in regardless. I am drugged up and walking around its just a case of feeling like poo but carrying on!!
I have 3 sledges.. the old fashioned type, unfortunately the labrador is too old to pull now adays and the german shepered would only be interested if there was a rabbit running in front!!
Ian.. i am a confessed Daddys girl, and he will also be my hero... and my go to man!

10:5582997I learnt to drive in the winter in Switzerland. It is very rare there that one is unable to take to the road, however there are some rules: don't change down to first gear if you can help it. Give way to vehicles coming up a hill. You really need either studded tyres or chains. It might be worth while for people here to start having a set of chains in case.
