Peter, you don't know me,but if you did you would know that I don't take orders very well and I am a Labour Councillor! We do not take orders from Coombe Valley or the Labour Party H.Q. We do have meetings before a Full Council meeting,as do the Tories,where we all have an input,we talk and argue about any decision,then we take a vote and we vote on our and the people in our wards feel about the subject.
I am in my ward working alot of the time,but people because they know me will stop me down the Town or at work and tell me what they think,I listen and then put the points over to my collegues at group meetings,as they also listen to their people,so the debates are not always heated.I am a third generation Labour Supporter so I don't have to think to hard about Labour Principles I was born and bred with them,I may not always agree with Labour when they were in power,but find myself very rarely agreeing with the current lot.
