Oh nooo Sue I am studiously neutral these days as I hope people are noticing...with okay perhaps just a hint of a leaning in one direction.
Yes I know BarryW and Sue that newspapers always have a biase one way or the other and I suppose fair enough, and I appreciate the need for scrutiny, but I thought the coverage of Nick Clegg last thursday prior to the debate (round two) took that too far and was outrageous. It had all the hallmarks of bought and paid for advertising. Most of the stories are/were unfounded completely but the headlines screamed everything from nazi to fraudster all on one day..it was too much of a co-incidence and did the newspaper business no favours in the long run. Its an industry struggling as we have often heard.
