Yes, it 'has become' difficult to know of any worthy of your vote, but as this single thing works against the voter and Democracy, it is of great comfort to the established Partys.
It is, to my mind, first and foremost worth discomfiting those same established Partys by a common display of intent from the population.
To be fair to all, acting in this way may well bring the Partys round to actually facing-up to delivering on their promises. Of course, should that not be quite the case the way is clear for Local Independents to offer an alternative, more Democratic, platform.
It is as true of Democracy as it is for much else, in that: What you don't use, you lose; Simples tsk!
