  The Press should certainly have got whatever story there was to get, because otherwise the public would be left with little option but to thank the Council for all its good work.
  
  Had so much cash not been expended this shilly-shallying could be easily laughed off, but there has been great cost and no real work done to ensure a return on that investment:then there is the general amenity, and local employment...
  
  The only thing for it, is for the local population to wax wrathful, and ensure that they are registered to vote and be determined that they, each and all, shall vote come the Local Elections.
