  from what i understand town and parish councillors were given invitations for them to pass on to people that remembered the coronation.

  Went past the Town Hall earlier and saw the "invitees" going in. I'm glad I didn't go, it was all old people!

  (apologies to Sue, the flash caught her mid-speech which isn't always flattering but the light was pretty bad thanks to the weather so the non flash close-ups weren't useable).
  
  Unfortunately it was overrunning at the end and I had to leave so didn't see the last of the St Edmund's performance but they were great - singers, dancers and musicians.

  Certainly seems to have had a very good turnout, and yes you are right there Roger that is Bob Thompson in very deep conversation with our Sue, thanks to Ray for the pictures they were good to see.
