Today sees Dover footy switch to the FA Trophy, with £4,000 for the winners
and the prospect of the conference big boys in the hat for the next round (First round)
Although Mr Kinnear is clear that promotion is top priority, the added bonus of the FA Cup run
and now the trophy dosh, must be a good sideline.
See you all there this afternoon

Very low key build up to this one Keith, all got lost in the euphoria of the FA cup probably, realistically we could go a long way in this competition if the draw is kind to us, I hope that is not the kiss of death for today

Hope so Martin, although long Cup and Trophy runs will cause serious fixture congestion, especially if we get another bad winter. Hopefully with the profits from the Cup run we can get more reinforcements!

Winning becomes a habit and the more games we win the stronger we become, hoping we may see something of the new players today. #COYW

Decent performance, not a big crowd but fair play to those behind the goal they never stopped singing. Cold was right Keith, was wishing I had dressed for the cold long before half time. New players looked very impressive. #COYW

Have to say all the time Dover kept yhe ball on the ground they looked good.
some short passing looked good.
thought the man of the match was number 3 not the managers son
but there you go.
thought today Dover played some really good football although at times lived dangerously.
On the whole i thought Dover were the better side
