I just had a look at the article above and I cant help but think that this African guy doing the legal pursuits would surely be better off chanelling his energy into something more worthwhile..rather than interfere with Tintin which is after all from another age.
So many books looking back have racial inequality but we mustnt interefere with them, abridge them to suit the current fashion, they capture the way the world was at the time...so you can in one way draw comparisons and marvel at the progress made.
Tintin is light hearted surely.
You might remember the story of the BBC football commentator the other week who had to apologise for using the term 'coloured' when referring to black players. On the BBCs Inspector Montalbano on saturday night they used the term in translation on the screen..referring to black people as 'coloured'
