  Why not use Dunkirk more ? I do, and I find it just as easy to use as Calais. A more sensible move would be to transport all the jungle residents to a purpose built secure (for their own safety) refugee camp as far away from the channel coast and routes used by hgvs as possible. This might deter some, and would make the journey more difficult for the more persistant offenders. Keep returning any absconders and they might actually get fed up with it. I am not advocating concentration camps, before anyone mentions any similarities, but humanitarian refugee camps with sanitary arrangements and so forth. Probably wouldn't cost too much to set up and run, you can't put a price on traveller's safety.
