    Paul B,
As you are probably aware I am from north of the border. I do not share the view of Nicola Sturgeon and her boss Alex Salmon that the scots should get free this and that. We are supposed to be a united nation within these shores.
Stunts like the one we have just been exposed to I.E. free prescriptions and the like are divisive and are being put in place as a deliberate part of scottish national party policy. the end result being that people south of the border will become so pissed off with the scots that it will make it easy for the SNP to achieve there aim of misguided independance. I have no objection to the scots having there independance with the proviso that they surrender there right to dip into the taxes paid by the people south of the border. If they want independance that much then they should be happy to pay for it themselves.
On a personal note, I have lived south of the border for the last 52 years and am more than happy that that situation stays as it is.
I think all nationalists are crack pots whether they be scots, welsh, irish or even cornish, we dont need them nor do we want them.
