Glad to be of help Claire. Have to say chances are our dogs get many ticks we never see....what does amaze me is, you can be stroking them, find a tick. Go and get the tick twister...and then it is a struggle to find the tick!! how silly is that, it hasn't moved...but because the dogs skin is moves so much it can be hard to find them.....we took one of our Working Cocker Bitch last night....she always gets a red lump for a day or so after removal...she has a reaction to the saliva. It is difficult keeping a watchful eye on them....What type of dogs do you have? We have 2 Black Labs and 3 Chocolate Working Cockers (mum, daughter and son) the pups are only 16 weeks old....and cute as buttons...
