Well for all you train enthusiasts it looks like the writing is on the wall for Sodor,Thomas' town' as it has banned Christmas and Christmas trees and adopted 'Winter Holidays' and 'decorated trees'. It appears that even poor old Thomas has been hit by the PC brigade which seems rather ironic when you think that it was old Rev Awdry that penned the stories way back in 1945.
Right must go and dig out my 'Mecca ' bingo club membership card or will they change the name of that as well...

The annual model railway exhibition by the Folkestone Model Railway Club is on this weekend.
Leas Cliff Hall 1000 - 1700.
This is always a good show with the hall and galleries packed out with layouts and traders.

My little grandson was on a bus with his dad last year (he likes buses!). Seeing a large man get on the bus he said in a very loud voice "oh look daddy - it's the fat controller!". Paul didn't know where to look lol.
My boys loved Thomas - we had every episode on video and they were played constantly.
