Wish you all well with your venture.

Good to see you doing all the walking and perhaps getting Paul B to move from two wheels to two feet !!!.
You may recall we first met when you organised the Cinque Ports Charity Walk. First year Sandwich to Hastings the second year Hastings to Sandwich, a great deal of money raised for worthwhile causes.Would be fantastic to see this organised again so that so many local charities benefit.
Although doing my regular NT Walks I am "limbering up" for my trek in a few weeks time to Nepal (Annapurna Region) and regularly do Dover to Folkestone as well as Dover to Deal (making sure to deviate in St Margaret's Bay to include the steps). Also just done some walks in the North Yorkshire Moors.
Anyway my trip to Nepal is not a sponsored do but one I arranged as a "tourist" .I have wanted to do "Nepal" for many years and goes back to as a schoolboy Everest being conquered and more importantly putting something directly into the Nepalise (Ghurka) economy.
Am doing 6 days trekking with max altitude about 9,000ft and total distance of some 35/40 miles (day 1 only 4½ miles but climb of just over 3,000 ft).And as you go up you also have to come down.
Didn't think of any sponsorship activites. However one or two knowing I am doing this said should raise some sponsorship. So if anyone interested I would suggest they put something to our Mayors Charity Fund" direct to the Dover Town Council Office quoting "Nepal Trek".
