Hi
We'll Dover entertain Dorchester on Saturday, it appears the Dover players want to make crabble a fortress
which would be great, far to many points have slipped out of crabble.
But it's not all doom and gloom
look at Dorchester, struggling in the league, put all its players on the transfer list
has a debt of £!50,000, the manager who is 60 has registered as a player, such is the state the club is in.
so lets hope for 3 points Saturday
see you all there

its a shame when clubs get into debt, its in no ones interest for them to go under.
Dorchester will be under a lot of pressure this season just to survive
i understand dover needs 800 fans to break even

Remember going to watch Dover play at Dorchester years ago when staying with my in-laws in Lyme Regis. Think Dorchester sold off their original ground to Tesco and built an excellent stadium nearby. Sad that they are now struggling.

Well the crowd of 632 saw a better Dover display against a struggling Dorchester side.
Dover in the first half outplayed Dorchester, and Dorchester just flooded there area with all 11 players
Dover did get the breakthrough by Modest(who i really do rate) and minutes later Dover got a penalty
which was taken in a far to relaxed way, and a very poor penalty(which was missed) this probably gave Dorchester a little confidence enough to keep them in the game.
Dover had a few chances before the half time whistle.
The referee clearly wanted to step his authority on the game booking a Dorchester player in the opening minutes,
he added about 6 or 7 others in the book shared between the two clubs.
I feel although he missed a few incidents, in the main the referee kept control of the game.
In the second half it was end to end stuff, and Dover had there chances, Dorchester did push forward and had 2 or 3 chances to get on level terms, but Dover held out.
Dorchester were not the strongest side at crabble this season
but for Dover its a useful 3 points before next saturdays FA cup 3rd qualifying tie at crabble 3pm
FINAL SCORE
DOVER 1 DORCHESTER 0

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.
