  Currently they appear to be a Company Limited by Guarantee, though I am aware that they have applied to become a Charitable Interest Organisation, hence why they have been seeking and appointing trustees.
  
  I understand that their remit is to contribute to the regeneration of Dover Town whilst ensuring that this is done in a socially responsible manner. I take this to mean amongst many things ensuring the utilisation of local businesses where possible, ensuring that properties are let at fair rents.
  
  As a Charity they are independent of the DTC albeit they were started with a legacy from DTC. Further, as a CIO, they are answerable to their members who I suspect are the people of wards that make up the Town of Dover. There will be some method, which I am currently unaware of, for people to become members if there is not a general clause automatically making DTC precept payers members; all CIOs have to publish accounts and hold regular general meetings where the initial trustees put themselves up for election etc.
  
  I am aware that Cllr Rix, Allison Burton, Simon Crowley & Ann Angel are currently trustees.
