Africa and it's children will always be deep in poverty because of the regimes they live under.
If the "code for life" could be changed for the leaders/dictators, call them what you will, then it would be a totally different life-style for the people of the whole continent.
The only reason there are small pockets where kids are doing even reasonably well, is where overseas (overseas to Africa) charities are there looking after them and helping with clean water and education etc.
Last night on despatches on Channel 4 was a program about Nigeria and the children who are accused of witchcraft and being witches. These kids are treated in the most awful and degrading manner, some are killed if the parents cannot find the £172 - yes, that's right, £172 (where are people, literally on the bones of their arse, going to find that sort of money ?)
The witchdoctor who was a "Christian Pastor" (yeah right !!) took in so many people because it is easy to do so and made an enormous amount of money from other people's suffering.
The only good thing to come out of it, was that the "pastor" was arrested and locked up.
This is black on black, completely evil and purely to make money out of the less well-educated there.
Is that O.K. Mr. Hook, does that meet with your approval ?
