  I have always tried to be helpful and balanced in my view.
  
  of course i have a lean towards a party and thats unlikely to change.
  
  I think its fair to say over my years i have worked closely with many other party members from other political parties and encouraged others to do so.
  
  you may recall my comment on a labour cllr who was horriefied to see me having a cup of tea with paul watkins!!!! we may differ on the political front, but i have many tory friends probably outnumber the labour friends i have lol!!!!!!!
  
  have to say peter, on charlie hes no different to gwyn before him playing the poltical game and i wouldnt say he was any better/worse than any other MP for dover.

  have to say most arrogant was david shaw not just because he was tory lol
  but the way he spoke to locals was one of he knew best and put people down
  
  never understood why he and gwyn would avoid ever being in the same room
