A decent entertainment venue where you might see well known acts (like The Marlowe or Gulbenkian, Astor Theatre even)
A traffic management system that doesn't have docks traffic cutting off the town from the seafront (this was one of the alternative options put out for public consultation in 1979, skirting the town from the A20 and joining up with a dual carriageway A2 at the top of Lydden Hill - maybe even add in a junction to connect with the top of Coombe Valley Road and develop that as an industrial estate with good traffic links)
