being a cynical type i always thought daleks were invented to frighten the life out of children watching t.v.
i never knew that they were real and lived in houses just like we do.

I know the occupant well. He is not a man to be trifled with.

Ah yes, that was made for the annual publican's walk a couple of years ago by The White Horse contingent - the Dalek head is actually a washing up basket. There should also be home-made K-9 there too - one chap who did the walk is bound to a wheelchair, and he agreed to come as Davros! What a sport.
Technically speaking, Daleks were always capable of flying, but one hardly ever saw them do this in the old series due to the restricted budget and the difficulty of hoisting them up on wires. Since the series returned in 2005 they have been seen zipping about all over the place - one benefit of computer generated imagery.

Dover is well fixed to see them off. Every time you call the local surgeries for an appointment you say, "with doctor who?"
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.
