Howard,
Judging by the lack of response I think you got the title wrong - if it had been 'Outrage over Western Heights goes nationwide' the thread would have been buzzing!

i think interest in the western heights development has waned considerably ray, never hear anyone mention it any more.
just seen as a fait accompli - what interested me was the argument that absolutely nothing is out of bounds if the right money is involved.

But it can also depend on what use the money is going to be put to Howard. In the Western Heights/Farthingloe case, a fair amount of money - £5 million, plus possible match funding, will ensure that there is good refurbishment of our heritage assets.

it would be nice to see all the money used on restoration and not wasted on consultation fees.
