Now I thought that roads in Eastern Docks are (UK) public roads, but if the ones between PAF controls and the wet stuff are actually in France, well then - we now know where to land immigrants that are picked up at sea... Non?

Immigration was the 'problem' 'solved' by Brexit. Now we've Brexited, nobody is allowed to talk about it as it's politically damaging for the government. Amazing to think we've been through all of the Brexit mess and still we have Farage chirping on about it...

Although Brexit is done and many were guided by the leavers to vote , and immigration will be sorted , they must be sick now .
Iv not seen a government deal with this , and solve it up to now .
.throwing millions to the French side hadn't helped even a little ...

It has proved rather pointless so far, spending so much time and money trying to stop the migrants entering the U.K. Perhaps a more beneficial system would be to employ them to assist the economy whilst their asylum applications are being processed.
They could be used in many areas, working on the land for instance, where there is a chronic shortage of workers. I’m sure you could suggest many other areas that they could be employed in.
This would also help them to feel more useful whilst helping them to forget their past ‘traumas’ and at the same time earn their place in the U.K. The chance for temporary work would go some way to alleviate their boredom, rather than them having an aimless existence at the taxpayers expense.
The cash that we are currently throwing at the problem could easily be used to provide temporary accommodation, (chalets, tents, caravans etc), in the areas where they would be working.
If a system like this was mandatory and quickly up and running, there could be a drop in the numbers trying to enter the U.K. illegally.
It could be a positive step in attempting to tackle the problems that are currently being experienced rather than letting the impasse continue.

We are no longer able to return asylum seekers to their point of entry into the EU because we are no longer signatories to the Dublin agreement. You won't hear that being made reference to by this current government.

#10, we should not be returning them to their point of EU entry anyway. If they are genuine refugees we should welcome them, process their asylum applications ASAP and allow them to contribute to the economy. If they are just economic migrants without skills we should return them to their country of origin. If their country will not accept them we should cut off all foreign aid to that country.

Problem for the Government is that (ERG pin up girl) Patel wants a solution that looks tough, but doesn't actually exist. Whereas, the only way through is with delicate and thoughtful negotiation - which she's not interested in.
