    Re your Item 7 John re Chancellor Merkel

    I was going to write a line or two about Angela Merkel this morning. In fact it was quite an admission from a German Chancellor and she agreed with our own BarryW here on this forum who has been saying it for years...
    "Multiculturalism doesnt Work!"

    However she did go on to say that she did not want to give the wrong impression to people abroad in the rest of the world about Germany, so she is caught between two stools...and admitted too that Germany needs immigrants for economic purposes.

    So to put it simply, its between a rock and a hard place. Germany needs immigrants but doest want them. Sounds familiar doesnt it?
