  Just a simple question, why was the union flag not flown during the service of rememberence?

  IN one of the posts it will tell you what happen but it was, then it came down and landed on a cllr head.I was there but did not see it happen.

  Thanks for that Vic, but the question remains - if the flag came down why not put it up again? I cannot believe that the coumcil, or the town hall staff, cannot fly a flag, it's pathetic' not only that, I feel that it is a direct insult to all those who attended.

  or to put you out pf your misery it fell of the flag pole brushed past two elderly people and hit the ground.
