    Yes this used to be the thing back in the seventies and eighties..even the ads for beer used to show guys in the pub on Boxing Day wearing awful sweaters bought by their grandma or worse still wearing ones knitted by your grandma...oooh the horror of it all!


    Not a tradition worth reviving..anyway we're all much cooler now in our shell suits!
