Alexander, it`s an historical dispute as to whether Copernicus is Polish or German, so he has been referred to as a German Pole, so you can take your pick there, but I`ve always read him as Polish, but never mind, that`s to do with the geography of the time. Regarding aliens, I haven`t said anywhere`s that they exist, my argument has always been, that due to centuries of religious teaching rammed down our throats, religious group`s are always referring to the human race as though we`re some specially chosen being, and they don`t want to consider that there MAYBE, far superior beings than us on other world`s. I don`t hate religion in the true sense, as I think it should be treated like history, and taught as an ordinary subject rather than something special. Sid summed religion up when he said it should be taught, not preached. Of course aliens can`t be acknowledged as scientific fact, until there`s a discovery of some sort, and I`ve never suggested anywhere`s they should be. I merely use the chance of aliens to get my argument over that we`re nothing special, unless of course we`re alone in this vast galaxy we`re in, but then, that would just be to make sure that we keep life going. Not sure what you mean that I maybe on a loser here, there`s no winner on either side until such time. N.B. Regarding Bruno, I`m referring to the scientific fact`s he got right and with what happened to him afterwards, regardless of who he believed in.
