Harmless self-congratulatory self-indulgent pretentious rubbish, taking the p155 out of the paying public who line up to 'be seen' amongst the usual collection of pointless ironmongery.
Turner must be spinning in his grave to see his name on the prize.

I love art, I loathe bins. £25k prize for that, what a load of rubbish!

Speaking again through the tube from my orb of ignorance...I understand this prize is for exhibitions throughout the year. It may well be yet more ironmongery, but on the up-side it will be consistent ironmongery.

Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Egos need to be pricked. Google 'masterchef spoof YouTube' and see what I mean.

I like some modern art but the Turner Prize winner always amazes me at what can be called art. Obviously a case of knowing the right people to get the contenders picked in the first place.
Anybody know a judge.

So that is a supermarket trolley and the artwork above, how long before there is a wheelie bin.

£25.000 gone down the rubbish bin! I could have produced a rubbish bin for much less than that!
Usually, a rubbish bin in that condition, which its creator evidently sat upon, would be taken from a park and desposed of in the rubbish removal lorry.
Anyway, who pays for all that rubbish, hopefully not us taxpayers.

nobody pays for removal of rubbish from the river alex.
when rubbish is removed it is by volunteers, they cannot go in the river now until next spring.
take a trip into pencester gardens and see the results.
