  Do you remember 'The Day of the Trifids' well it is on its way back in September and features my old footballer ,mate, former Band of Brothers actor,and Dover Boy Shane Taylor.
  If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

  i thought that the council was supposed to spray them now and again.

  Not forgetting the excellent 1981 BBC adaption starring John Duttine. The triffids were a brilliant design and very eerie with their clacking noises as they communicated with each other. The whiplash stinger was a particularly effective piece of design. It's available on DVD should anyone wish to watch it again.
  
  I'm sure I saw one of these things growing on the roof of Snoops the other day.
