The treatment and after care was of the very best at both Hospitals.
- 30 July 2015 06:22284917If any of the staff from both the Buckland and Ashford hospital are reading this post I would like to thank them very much for the treatment I had at both hospitals on Wednesday of this week.I was working inside the steam train when not knowing there was a wasp nest within secs// they were all over me ,some how I got out with them still on my head and arms I was found by some of lads of the E.K.R.T and rushed to buckland so I thank them too ,after treatment there which was first class I was taken to the A,&E at Ashford for more treatment and I could not have asked for better nurses and Drs I had over 20 stings on my head with more on my hands home now so a very big thanks to all and the boss of EKRT even went and picked up my wife and much later came back to take us both home.I am still under the weather this morning but feeling alot better. Again thank you all please pass this on

I've been attending Ashford, Kent and Canterbury and Buckland recently as an out patient and I too have nothing but praise for all three.
On Monday I had an appointment at K&C and whilst waiting, a chap came round asking all waiting if they would like a coffee, tea or squash, what a caring thing for the hospital to do. I actually left the hospital at the time my appointment was! Personally I have never had a bad experience at any of these three hospitals, never been to QEQM so can't comment on that one.
Also a big thank you and praise for our first response and paramedics. I recently had to dial 999 following a scare at home and they were so kind. They arrived really quickly and treated me well - wonderful people.

The private sector doesn't have its eyes on that part of the N.H.S. thank goodness.
- 30 July 2015 16:11284934Hi Vic, I couldn't agree more concerning our hospitals, I currently have Karen's dad in Margate receiving palliative care and today Karen had to go to Ashford for pre op checks. The staff in both places are absolutely brillant as is the care provided by them..
PS hope you recover quickly from your painful ordeal and are soon back on your feet. - 30 July 2015 16:31284936Again thank you all for your support over this yes the staff are all very good and you know they are caring and doing their very best working for a service which is not getting the support from Westminster it needs and the GPs also need backing from both the public and Westminster all we do is say thank you to them even if you been hrs waiting ,and that does mean alot to them just a thank you.
