  every time i went there was a bloke with white gloves on handing me bits of paper, which made me nervous.
  
  usually there was one other individual that was there, who got up and went after his/her planning application had been discussed.
  
  just as it gets interesting the chap with the gloves and the military uniform escorts me to the door, as the public are not
  allowed to stay any longer.
