Poor old Lembit, he's certainly had an " interesting" life!
But I have to say that I always thought his radio slot to be one of the best on BBC radio Kent, interesting, polite and well balanced and never seemed just to want to hear his own voice or opinion over and above the people he was chatting to. In fact for an ex politician he seems very down to earth.
Unlike the daily late afternoon/ early evening slot of the master of PC Dominic King. Rude and abrasive to any caller with a view different to his, but any third rate singer or luvvie is customarily fawned over to the extent that the sick bucket should be kept near by!
Perhaps Lembit's latest wasn't "cheeky" enough for him!?
( looks like he should have shown more responsibility to his daughter though )

Yes, I liked the fact that he always had a balanced view, never favoured sides. Better than that James Whale, how he gets away with some of what he says, I'll never know. I can't listen to him, self opinionated.
