The police in Dover do not do the job they are paid for in fact they are rubbish, they do not use the law in the way they should do, they are a very week force .the power is in place to remove some members of the public and use the courts but no all they do is drive pass, time they were told to do the job they are well paid for.

Not really a Dover thing as our PM when Home Secretary cut budgets to police forces nationwide. Chief Constables justify their salaries and perks by concentrating on issues that hit the media rather than day to day stuff. We all remember two and a bit years ago when thugs invaded our town and brought it to a halt and when the next event happened every police person in the South of England arrived here.
Since then they have been going through footage to bring the scumbags bang to rights and they only wound up the case last week. Dragging drunks and druggies before the courts does not gain the top brass brownie points at their lodge.

none of what you are saying does not stop police from doing their job each morning you see police cars just driving in the streets of Dover they can see with their own eyes what is going on but they do not stop.

Those policemen might be on their way to help someone so are already on a call.
There are simply not enough of them together with far to much paperwork.
Regarding #1, if soldiers wanted to be policemen they would have joined the police not the army.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Two officers knocking on a door - that's cuts to the front line, that is. It used to be three; one to read, one to write and one to keep an eye on the two intellectuals.

I am in deep shock..... I saw a policeman this morning that was walking and not in a car, you know the kind I mean they wear a helmet not peaked hat, the first one I have seen for months if not years in my area.

The one that made the arrest the other day wore a helmet and as he was on the small side it didn't suit him. Meanwhile a lot of action going in town with 3 police cars with flashing lights going through, then I saw 2 parked outside a house in Folkestone Road.
