if strategically placed in the river members of the wild fowl community can carry out their ablutions without getting their feet wet.

(I liked the title of the thread, so re-used it)
I've just seen a (nice-looking) lady with her 2 young daughters picking up all the litter as they worked along the road.
An unusual sight!

Would you be so kind as to point them in the direction of Clarendon Street junction with Belgrave Road, this is what greeted me when I opened my front door this morning.

I've sent that photo to waste services Howard, asking if they will clear it up and search through the rubbish to identify the owner and if so, contact him/her/them.

Thanks Roger, doesn't come from any of those houses Peter, probably from the same person that dumped this at the junction of Longfield Rd and Belgrave Rd last week.

That must have come from a car, if not it is a lot of bags to carry.

The chap who lives in the bottom flat of the corner house came home last night and cleared it up best he could and is convinced it was the people who live at the back of him who were responsible as they were regularly throwing rubbish into his back garden until he made his wall a lot higher.

Do they not have their rubbish collected at all Howard, or is that they don't recycle and just chuck it outside.
If you would like to send that (and maybe more) info to me in an email, I'll progress it.
We need to try and keep on top of it.
