  And if he did not fly them in he would have been critisised for not doing so.... I am sure the children themselves loved the experience, both the film making and the trip to LA, plus their education would be worth far more than the couple of grand cost....they are the ones that really count.
  
  Incidentally, I have nothing to do with the film industry but if my industry is anything to go by I expect the costs of the children's flights, hotel stays etc would have been sponsored, perhaps by the airline and hotel chains themselves.
