In this weather take care when visiting the Western heights. They've put down plastic webbed matting where it's muddy and it is very, very slippery. I went there yesterday evening and saw two people slip up and cover themselves with mud.
Good idea but impractical in that location.

i know where you mean philip it is that bit from the car park leading to the circular walk around the gun emplacement leading back to the dogging site.
was quite a surprise to see you there.
