    We volunteered for the Olympics but not for the `Big Society`.

    The games were glamorous...in your face...very public.....

    Ask for volunteers in your community and you get the same old,tired faces turn up...it

    ain`t glamorous.

    Cameron planned a big relaunch of the `Big Society`in May this year....it did not

    happen.

    His big idea is in the long grass..
