It'll be interesting to see how the trains on this £100 billion plus vanity project will run. Some clever chap on this forum has been making subtle hints about the gist of the problem they and we face very soon:

Philip, not to worry but you may have to stop using your tumble dryer for a while.a nice piece of string tied between two poles work well this time of year.

Brian I'd take your advice if the weather were as predicted by the wierdy beardies who follow the global warming cult but they their predictions of boiling hot summers are somewhat off the mark - who knew eh?
I suspect that what we are witnessing is the government playing politics with our energy sector in order to further their mad ambitions to create a carbon free (in other words a deindustrialised banana republic) Britain in order to save the planet.
They have no intentions to build new power plants and the ofgem report will give them the excuse to speed up the rollout of more useless wind and solar farms.
Wait for the response to this latest news from the department of energy and idiocy to see if I'm proved correct.
