I have read the text of the speech, and will give a link to that text, but I do not insist, encourage or ask you to read it. It's just there if you wish to read it.

"...I am prouder than ever to be the Leader of the Labour Party."

So ends the opening statement of this script-free speech, perhaps proving that he can read upside-down what is written on his lapel badge.

"Daddy, I can help you with your speech. ...Daddy [his three year old son said]...I want dinosaurs! "

His son was not to be disappointed.

It would be unfair to trawl through the whole thing, a little unfair on Ed, very unfair to you.

Much of what he alludes to I cannot argue against as they are many of the things I go on about myself. If anything he follows my line a tad too closely, where I rail against the policies carried out by the Party I've admittedly voted for in the past, he rails against the same without mentioning his part in it at all.
The conclusion, the crossing of the 't's and dotting of the 'i's, includes this...
"Friends, it falls to us, it falls to us, the Labour Party. As it has fallen to previous generations of Labour Party pioneers to leave our country a better place than we found it."
Which leaves, I guess, more than this 'T' cross.
