..............and a tearful Eva Roberts inspects the damage to Eva's Cafe caused overnight by vandals. From the arrangement of the furniture inside it's unlikely that entry was made but nevertheless it's not the sort of thing she needs with her new business.
Luckily, she had just installed CCTV on the outside so the police ought to be able to identify the culprits.

must be heartbreaking when vandals no doubt drunk do such damage, keith mention the tram shelter but there was a lot of drunken loutishness going on last evening.
ok we expect noisy parties on new years eve but the racket coming from the new flats at "ancestors" was deafening with a lot of activity on the streets around.

Oh, so sorry

So horrible, so unnecessary - just cannot understand why people do this kind of thing.

This is now the 5th shop window to be smashed or attacked in London Road over the last 3 months - so far the police have done nothing and caught no one

Kent police or the lack of them around Dover means it has not been a good start of the new year.As I have said at meeting after meeting we need to pay for more policing by companys so our streets have a police force going round 24`7

The policing of the whole area is now a joke, longest response times in the Country, when the Police that are called to an incident in Dover maybe coming from as far afield as New Romney or Margate it is no wonder that the offenders are rarely caught for an incident such as this! we deserve better.

They have just paid out £100.000 to the person who is now the head of the police in this part of Kent, the person knows nothing about a police force or the runing of one. That would have paid for the ex policing needed to police our local towns by a company.

Re post # 12.
Yes a complete joke, and regarding the CCTV footage if any the reply will be.....not able to identify the culprits.
So sad for the owner and a bad start for the new year, I hope I'm wrong about the above.
