  I remember having Davey Jones, and David Cassidy posters on my bedroom wall as a teenager back in the sixties. First boy band to be put together for the T.V. R.I.P. indeed thought they were great. He also played Ena Sarples grandson in Corrie back in the sixties.

  So sad, I loved watching the Monkees tv show every Saturday morning as a kid. He was my favourite.

  They were always a happy band, not necessarily over-gifted with musical talent, but a good talent for knowing how to make people feel good. Zany TV programmmes, but raised your spirit if you were miserable.
