  This actually makes me feel sorry for MPs, not all of whom (I suspect) are charlatans and several of whom are darn good actors. Theresa May, for example, must be as batty as a box of frogs; she's only marginally younger than I am, but instead of putting her feet up, there she is doing a stressful job for less money than people reading teleprompters and certain in the knowledge that, whatever "it" is, she'll be blamed and bad-mouthed for it. I mean, who needs that kind of grief?
