If the people around this area who were leaving their waste and rubbish in their gardens and making a serious blight on the local landscape, were English - or French or American, I would still be angry with them - it's what they do, not who they are or where they come from that's the problem.
Education is a bit difficult because many of the children don't attend school - the social services are looking into that; there is also the question of the numbers who are living in the houses as many of them are overcrowded and more random checks need to be made as I simply do not believe that a "normal" (what's normal ?) family could produce the amounts of rubbish that are spewed out all over the front gardens.
The Romany Gypsies are not hated for being Romany Gypsies, they are disliked for what they do to the neighbourhood - their own popularity is in their own hands - I doubt they care whether they are liked or not.
I hear from reliable sources that some of the girls are into prostitution and the Police have been made aware of this. Discussions have taken place with them, with an interpreter in attendance so they know what's being said, about what is expected of them - behaviour-wise, rubbish-wise and school-wise and general demeanour, but it doesn't make a blind bit of difference - the mess is there again two days later, the schools still report non-attendance and so it goes on.
