  this sort of thing usually happens in deprived inner city areas, not kentish villages.
  
  Due to recent acts of vandalism against Stagecoach buses in Elvington we will no longer be serving St Johns Road with immediate effect. This affects the following services:
  
  1645 '89' Dover to Canterbury, 1713 '88' Dover to Elvington, 1745 '89A' Dover to Canterbury, 1843 '89' Dover to Elvington, 1942 '89' Dover to Elvington, 2157 '89' Dover to Elvington ALSO1605 '89' Canterbury to Dover, 1710 '89' Canterbury to Dover, 1740 '89' Canterbury to Dover, 1910 '89' Canterbury to Dover and the 2227 '89' Elvington to Dover.
  
  1700 '88' Ramsgate to Dover and 1713 '88' Dover to Ramsgate.
  
  89 Services will continue through Elvington on Adelaide Road and will not serve St Johns Road. The late 89 service which serves Elvington then returns to Dover will turn back at White Horse and will not serve Elvington.
  
  88 services will not serve Elvington.
  
  If the acts of vandalism continue we will have no choice but to withdraw all Elvington services, we will monitor the situation closely and we will endeavour to find a resolution to this problem. We regret any inconvenience caused as a result of this decision but we must act in the interests of safety for both our passengers and staff.
