On the 17th December the George Cross for Dover Campaign has called a meeting of the various groups and societies concerned with Dover's wonderful history. This meeting, to be held in the Town Council offices from 10:00am, aims to produce a united statement on those sites in Dover that we all feel should be preserved, protected and promoted. Once completed we will be presenting this document to both DDC and DTC (and Dover Pride) as well as releasing it the press and forums for public comment. We have invited The Western Heights Preservation Society, The Dover Society, The Dover War Memorial Project and the Roman Painted House, as well as having heard from Doverpast but if there are any groups etc that you know of or represent that you feel should also be there please do reply here, contact me directly or leave a message on our website
