    Thanks for that Ed. Re-reading the diary note`s, it does appear as though it`s Dover, but maybe at the time the actual port was classified information, hence not entered into the diary. KATH. Russia launched their Sputnik spacecraft in 1957, but it looks as though your picture shows a number of them some year`s earlier.
