Well it is now out in the open so I will post on why I am standing again and yes LIKE the last local election I am standing as a independent I know it does not say that,but it was the way I filled in the papers,and did not feel like writing it all out again.
The way I am seeing it is,over the pass twenty years or more we have only seen the two main partys in Dover shouting at each other about what they should do or not do when in power and what has been done easy to see that nothing has been done not only in the town but also in the county.
What I think is needed is more individuals on all councils that are not in any partys and just think about what can be done to make the towns or parishs in the county better place to live in and bring up a family.I have along with many others been trying to do just that talking about myself I have not done alot but that does not mean I should pack up trying and will not do that till the day I drop.Over the pass year or so some of you have been posting is Vic Matcham a UKIP parish cllr or a indepentent and if he is a indepentent why is his name on the UKIP webb as a UKIP one Well now is the time to tell you what happen as you know I was up till last year the chairman of the UKIP in Dover, and at the last last local election I asked for the vote of UKIP members in Dover to support me in standing as a UKIP candidate they voted against standing any candidates in the local elections at that time, so I told them that will not stop me going ahead with standing so I went on my own as a indepentent so I hope now that is all clear to you,they put my name down on their own webb site to make it look good so others could see that they did have local cllrs,I did asked and still do to remove my name from their webb site as a cllr what they do is up to them but I asked.Am I still a member of Ukip today,yes I am but I have aske for my the money back that it cost me to be a member this year . I have no wish to tell you why and what happen it was beween me and the UKIP members but will say we do not go the same way anymore.All I care about is doing what I can for the Town I love and the county I live in.And to all of us it is not hard to see what needs doing you just have to look at our towns parishs and roads and the paths and the rubbish all over the place to see what needs to be done. Going on to my campaign now I do not have the funds like partys have to mount a good campaign If you would like to help me in doing that please feel free to do that. But all I can do is post about it on the both the forums but this one mainly because of the numbers of the public that look in, and just maybe the local press will pick up on it and and put a few words in the paper,but will have to see what happens. But all I know that I will carry on trying to help make not only our town but the county a much better place to live in.And I am not the only one doing this I have had emails from around the county of others doing the same as me.Well thats about it for now please aske me any questions you like and I will try to help. but please do not be rude about it after all I am just trying to help.Thank you for reading this post Vic Matcham,still serving on four parish councils and yes I would make time for the county one if I did get in.
