  I totally disagree with the reasons or the sneaky way the stag was shot, old yes, past his prime maybe but no need for the cloak and dagger way it was done. but hey it's done. I'm sure some of his offspring will be just as big as he is.
  
  I also hunt and shoot rabbits, only to do local farmers a favour to save vast amounts of crops.
  I would never injure any other form of wildlife unless absolutely necessary, ie because of a bad injury or similar. Ferriting is a firm favourite too.
  Any type of vermin gets it.
  
  I also go fishing and love it, does that make you dislike me or make me a criminal.?
