    I think that is the point.
    on joinng the county/district councils 25 years it was the protecton of wldlife that got me into politics(see jan lol)

    I pushed for huntng on council land in District and county land to be banned
    to the annoyance of barryw.
    it all went through.

    It was more to highlight the issue.

    Still today badgers are being klled, there are 2 sets of scientist opnion on the badger and do they need to be culled.
    Scientsts have said the argument of desease could have come from domestic pets somethng that to date has not been denied.

    But badgers go on being killed.


    To be fair I pushed elliot morley in the then webbs hotel as the shadow ministerto stop this klling sadly once in govt he didnt, so labour or tory not much better than each other on the issue.
