Keith, and that is exactly why drag hunting is NOT done. They still go out with hounds and 'accidentally' catch a fox. But this ilk of person like the blood and cruelty, that can be the only reason they continue even though it is banned and against the law. There are numerous clips on youtube of fox hunters meeting the public who are trying to stop it and their cruelty extends to people as well, with anti hunt people being attacked and run into by horses. As you say, hunting is cruel, and can only be done by cruel people.
Bern, I think that this killing will do some good - it has brought back to the forefront of peoples minds that this sick barbarity continues, whereas before it was going on but people didn't know about it. There is no place for blood sports in a modern civilised society and, lets face it, the media are only interested in celebrities, hence the coverage.
